Initiatives Released
Native Databricks connection
We’ve added full support for Databricks as a native database connection. With this newest direct data connection, users can leverage Databricks for all functions within Accelerator allowing for more integrated connections with customer data architecture to further support marketer use cases.
Goals
- Add Databricks Native as a database connection in Accelerator
-
Support all native connection functionality via Databricks, including optimized extractions and Audience Recording
Dashboard improvements
We’ve given our Dashboard a big face lift! The latest Dashboard update has all the same features as before, with some ease of use tweaks to make sorting and customizing seeing what you need easier than ever. We’ve split the Dashboard into two pages - Performance & Operational. On the Performance page you’ll find our updated metrics, an easy way to jump back into your recently visited work, and the ability to create new assets. On the Operational page you’ll find the Recent & Scheduled jobs tables, allowing you to track all job execution statuses.
Goals
-
Update the Dashboard to new Accelerator design standards
-
Add ability to filter metrics and jobs based on Accelerator Account
-
Introduce new customization options for metrics and jobs tables
-
Add better pagination options to the jobs tables
New page wide Account filter
We’ve added a new way to view dashboard metrics filtered for All Accounts, or for a single specific Account. Choose which Account you’d like to see in the top right. This will persist across both the Performance & Operational pages, and can be changed from either.
New Customization filters
We’ve added the ability to remove or add specific metrics to the Recipient Metrics graphs, as well as the Recent and Scheduled Jobs tables.
You can still use the same Status, Activation, or Date filtering as before - as well as the new page wide Account filter. Configure your columns to specify exactly what metrics are relevant to your needs when viewing metrics by job.
Create new assets right from the Dashboard
Under recently viewed, you’ll find your last visited assets from across Accelerator. You can also create a new asset of that type without needing to navigate off the page.
